Kubota mower deck won.
Jun 19, 2017 · The deck up down lever is on the right. Lever is movable, but deck does not move. Dealer is NOT helpful - that's an under statement, but there are other Kubota dealers in the area. I'm grateful for my neighbor mowing my yard but don't want to take advantage of his kindness. He won't even let me give him gas money for his riding mower.

I believe that most of these height knobs/locks will not move when the weight of the mower deck is resting on them. Just make sure its lifted all the way, then try to move your knob. There is a small detaunt that the blade sets in so it is centered to the shaft and the bolt. Tightening the bolt with a wrench will not get it tight enough. Make sure the bolt threads are ok and not stripped.

I fact I couldn't tell if there was any moment at all. The rear 3-point goes up and down, but not the center. The tractor is in good shape, low hours and fluid levels all check out. So, take a seat on the lawn mower seat with the brake on. Give the key a turn to ON, then OFF. If there is a switch or electrical cabling fault, the clutch will engage as soon as it receives power by turning the key. You will be able to hear a clicking sound coming from the clutch as it engages and disengages.
